Christmas Outfit for Caroling

Last night I had the privilege of being invited to play some carols with our church chamber orchestra for a hospice home. It was such a delight, and required a festive but appropriate outfit. This is what I opted for-

White Layering Tee: purchased from Kohl's last year (about $10)
Red Glitter Cable Cardigan: Found at Saver's for $3
Black Skirt with Embroidered Lily Print: Coldwater Creek via Mom (free for me!)
Black Leggings: Cuddle Duds from Kohl's (about $15)
Christmas Kitty Scarf:  Purchased years and years ago from the mall
Black Boots: ebay ($65 - and I wear them at least three times a week)

Here's a close up so you can see the sparkle embedded in my cardigan and my sweet scarf - who loves scarves like me?  They are so great!

Agree, scarves are wonderful! Love seeing your different outfits and what a FUN way to give to the community.

I almost feel like I'm cheating - it's so NOT a chore, I love to play anyways. It's amazing that something so easy for me to do (to just show up and play!) makes others happy. Thanks for commenting :)

As someone who was w/her mom in a hospice place on Christmas it was so nice (got to say maybe not so nice at the time, highly emotional, drained etc) to have just one lady come in and sing a carol. Looking back, I think of how nice that was. She passed the day after Christmas, but it's not something I or my sibling will soon forget.
