Last Day

Today is Ceci Bessi's last day of being zero. It's so hard to believe how quickly the time has flown and also to marvel at how much life has changed in one year. Last year we were preparing for the arrival of our last (so we thought) baby and while that was a happy thing, of course, we were also stressed out financially due to the economy and stuff. 2009 was definitely a year of ups and downs, that's for sure. How much better 2010 has been! We have life back under control (well, as under control as life can be with 5 kids, of course). I feel more centered and peaceful than I've ever felt in my adult life. And Cecily is a delight, even as she gets into more and more stuff as she becomes mobile. She can say Mum, Dad, and Dig consistently. She likes to clap, wave, and do the Indian war-whoop thing. She transitioned this week from formula to milk (the bottle will be going bye-bye next month). She cruises around lightning fast and can stand unassisted although we haven't seen any true walking yet. We love you little baby!

Cecily is grandma and grandpa's little doll and we can't believe she is going to be one already. Not sure what dig means but I'll go with grandma, lol!
